City Climbing
Rock climbing surfaces are accessible both in the city centres and in the many Saguenay boroughs.
- Chicoutimi, northern sector: "24 heures" (24 hours) (detour at the Pont Dubuc exit), "Croix de Sainte-Anne" and "Dalle Egen", (Close to the Rue de la Croix parking lot). For seasoned climbers: "Monts et Merveilles" (mountains and marvels) (close the south side of Rue Roussel at the Rue Diane intersection);
- La Baie: three mounts overlooking the Baie des Ha! Ha! offering paths for skilled climbers (toward l'Anse-à-Benjamin);
- Jonquière: “Mont Jacob” and “Mont Fortin” offer several options in breathtaking settings.

Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC)
This interior climbing wall is located in UQAC in the Pavillon Sportif. On-site specialists offer artificial vertical surfaces with holds of all kinds arranged on the walls for facilitating training.

Adventure Climbing
Cap Trinité offers the most imposing walls in Québec at 320 meters high! Recommended for experienced and well-prepared climbers. Contact the FQME, or the Club de Montagne Saguenay, if you have the required skills for these types of challenges.
